Social Media Manager: The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will lead our team of digital content creators across various social media platforms for our hospitality clients. This individual will work with the PR account teams to define strategic goals for clients' social media profiles and manage a team of content creators.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be strategic, organized, and demonstrate clear communication skills with both clients and internal teams

  • Must have management experience (2+ years); ability to manage a team of 2-4 digital content creators

  • 4+ years of content creation experience

  • Strong copy editor and writer

  • Exceptional communications skills – oral and written

  • Social experience on: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok primarily as well as Youtube and LinkedIn

  • Attention to detail and proficient time management skills to meet content deadlines

  • Experience in scheduling and analytics platforms (we use Iconosquare).

  • Knowledge of social media best practices and confidence to serve as consultancy voice to clients

  • 3+ years of agency experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 2-3 individuals by empowering them to think big, bring creative ideas to the table and deliver results for the clients

  • Set team up for success in execution:

  • Create voice and style guides for clients to set team up for success

  • Give constructive feedback on work and set expectations for quality of content

  • Lead social content strategy and provide production oversight for team for 12-18 clients

  • This includes social calendar creation, content ideation, social copy creation, creative direction, community management, and more

  • Stay current on platform updates/innovations and competitors, ensuring that best practices are being applied across all channels and learnings are shared cross-team

  • Be integrated with the brands to define their voice, culture and tone while leveraging platform specific tactics to engage audiences

  • Delegate tasks and provide comprehensive feedback for a team of talented digital content creators in terms of copy, creative, and platform-specific optimizations

  • Provide guidance to team for data analysis and metric reporting for clients

  • Track, analyze, and optimize against KPIs and present key insights in a compelling format on a monthly basis

  • Lead communication with clients regarding social content timelines, content performance/KPIs, reporting, and feedback

  • Assistance with new business development for potential social media clients

  • This job will not require day-to-day management of pages but frequent audits of pages to ensure we are executing on all deliverables

Digital Content Creator: We are looking for a full-time digital content creator to join our team! This individual will work with the account teams to define strategic goals for clients' social media profiles as well as e-communications (ie. newsletter). Job responsibilities include:

  • Content creation for 6 social media accounts with assistance on strategy from the account team (platform execution dependent on the client - Facebook, Instagram and sometimes Twitter or TikTok)

  • Development of creative captions and copy

  • Execution of growth strategies (searching hashtags, bringing creative contests to the table, etc.

  • Development of photography for social profiles as well as reels and TikTok

  • Posting 3-4 times per week

  • Monitoring of trending sounds, reel/TikTok trends, etc.

  • Monitoring of pages (resharing user-generated content to stories, liking and commenting back to follower comments, responding to DMs, etc.)

  • Creation of daily Instagram stories to support feed posts and initiatives

  • Development of creative newsletters and blogs (utilizing content from the account teams)

  • Basic skills in Canva, Photoshop, Splice or video editing, etc.

  • Monthly social reporting on all accounts for the clients with use of monitoring software (we use Iconosquare)

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be strategic, organized and have strong communication skills with both team and clients

  • Must have strong copywriting skills with an understanding of engagement tactics

  • Proficient in food/lifestyle photography and reels content creation; preferably 1-2 years experience

  • Attention to detail and proficient time management skills to meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of social media best practices

  • Desire to be integrated within client brands to capture their tone, culture, voice and more

  • Understanding of analytics and scheduling software (we use Iconosquare)

  • Applicants should have interest in a number of hospitality sectors: restaurants, hotels, coffee, spirits, etc.
